Getting Started
Do I need any experience?
It depends on the class. All beginner classes require zero experience — just show up. Level 1.5 and intermediate classes require some familiarity with the specific style and certain foundational moves. Advanced classes require instructor approval to ensure the experience and safety of everyone in the room.
Do I need a partner?
No partner is ever needed. Our group classes rotate partners so everyone gets experience dancing with different people. Solo attendees make up a large part of our community.
Do I need to rotate partners?
Not at all. We have plenty of couples who only dance with each other, and that's completely fine. We always recommend rotating because it genuinely speeds up how fast you learn — but there's no requirement.
Is this a series? Do I need to start at a specific time?
Nope. We take a lot of pride in being as drop-in friendly as possible. There's no series to start from the beginning, and our curriculum is built around real people's schedules. Come when you can, skip when life happens, and pick right back up — no stress, no pressure to over-plan.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. For shoes, avoid flip-flops or heavy athletic shoes with grippy soles — something with a smoother bottom lets you turn more easily. Women often wear low heels or worn sneakers; men typically wear leather-soled dress shoes or worn sneakers.
Do I need to wear dance shoes?
Not required at beginner or intermediate level, though suede-soled dance shoes are always the most comfortable option. At advanced level, dance shoes or dance socks are highly recommended — your feet and the floor will both thank you.
Classes & Schedules
How long is each class?
Classes run either 45 or 55 minutes depending on the style. The difference is intentional — some styles cover 2–3 dances in a focused block rather than drilling for a full hour, which is easier to absorb and retain.
How do I know which classes are offered?
Check the schedule on our homepage. It shows the current week's classes in real time, including style, level, day, and time.
Do you teach the same style every week?
A few styles run every week: Salsa on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Bachata on Saturdays, West Coast Swing and Line Dancing on Mondays. Everything else rotates throughout the year — Latin, Swing, Ballroom, Country, and social styles all appear regularly.
Can I take a class I've already taken?
Absolutely — and we actively encourage it. Most classes are built around 8–12 sessions covering foundational and early bronze moves over about two months. We also recommend new intermediate students take beginner classes in tandem to build strong basics.
Pricing & Booking
How much do classes cost?
We have some of the most accessible pricing in the Metroplex — starting at $15 drop-in and dropping to $9/class with packs. Unlimited members can get it as low as $6/class. All packs work across every style we offer, not just one.
Drop-in$15
Intro 5-Pack First-time students$45
4-Pack$52
8-Pack$88
12-Pack$108
Unlimited$199/mo
Do class packs expire?
Single drop-in credits don't expire. Class packs last 3 months — even at one class per week, a 12-pack has plenty of room. Unlimited memberships recharge monthly and are built for students who want to take multiple styles every week, or who want to support keeping all our community activities accessible.

Going out of town for a while? Talk to us. We make exceptions for consistent students — connection is the point, not the transaction.
How do I register for a class?
A few ways:
  • Use the class picker on our homepage — select a class, choose a drop-in, pack, or membership, and check out.
  • Browse the full calendar on PushPress and register directly.
  • Just drop in and pay in person. We have a 2,400 sq ft ballroom and rarely run out of room — up to 60 in a class setting, and more for socials.
Can I get a refund?
Partially. We don't do pro-rated refunds on packs or memberships once they've been used. If you haven't used anything yet, we can refund the class cost — but not the 9% club fee on each transaction (e.g., a $15 drop-in has a $1.25 fee; we'd refund the $15, not the fee).

Can't make a class last minute? No problem — late cancellations don't use up your credit. We want you to actually enjoy what you paid for, not lose it to a schedule change.
