DFW Social Dance Studio grew out of a simple belief — that making real friends as an adult shouldn't be this hard. Dance turned out to be the answer.
In 2021, Alexi Noble started hosting casual dance meetups in Dallas–Fort Worth. No stage, no pressure — just people showing up, learning a few moves, and leaving with more than they came with. A few months later, Marco Panama joined and the two of them started building something bigger together.
By mid-2023, the community had grown to over 3,000 members. They launched a Discord server and watched the group take on a life of its own. Events were selling out. New people kept coming back. Something real was happening.
In March 2024, they opened a dedicated 4,720 sq ft studio in Farmers Branch — a real home for the community. Today, DFW Young & Social Club has over 30,000 members across Meetup, Facebook, and Discord. Over 110 events happen every single month. And it's still just the two of them running it all.
The dance studio is the heart of it. Because dance is how people actually start talking to each other.
Events, classes, and spaces designed so people actually meet each other — not just stand in the same room.
No experience needed. No partner required. Two left feet completely welcome. The door is open for exactly who you are right now.
We're building something we're genuinely proud of — and grateful every week for the people who show up and make it real.
Find a class, grab a spot, and see what all the fuss is about. No experience, no partner, no problem.
