Line Dancing

Line Dancing is one of the most accessible and social forms of dance — performed solo in lines or rows, with no partner required, to a simple repeated pattern of steps. It spans a huge range of styles, from classic Texas country line dances like the Cotton-Eyed Joe and the Electric Slide to contemporary choreography set to pop, hip-hop, and Latin music.

At DFW Social Dance Studio, we teach a rotating repertoire of line dances — from beginner-level country classics to intermediate pop and Latin-inspired patterns. You don't need to know anything going in. We walk through every step, and you'll have the routine by the end of class.

Line Dancing is social dancing at its most welcoming. There's no partner, no "wrong side," no experience required — just music, steps, and a room full of people moving together. It's one of the fastest ways to feel at home on any dance floor.
