Texas Two-Step is a partner dance with deep roots in the Lone Star State's dance hall tradition. While closely related to Country Two-Step, it carries its own distinct flavor — often danced at a faster tempo with a more relaxed, natural hold and an emphasis on smooth, comfortable social dancing over formal technique.
